Chess Grants

Chess Grants will be distributed at the discretion of the Organizing Committee.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A CHESS GRANT:

In advance of your school’s participation in the Challenge, please make a written submission with three headings:

  • A description of your school (enrolments/ location/ special features).
  • A description of how chess has been presented at your school in the last 5 years. (If you haven’t had chess in the last 5 years, you will NOT  be disadvantaged).
  • A description of how you would spend $1000 developing a chess program in your school.

Please email the completed submission to Harry Poulton, hpoulton6@bigpond.com, by 18 September, 2019.

All schools will be notified regarding the outcome of their submission in November.

The judges’ decision will be final.
